This Privacy Policy sets out how we collect, use and protect any information that you give GRASPIE when you use the GRASPIE website or the GRASPIE Platform ("Software") and its related program management and support (“Services”). 



GRASPIE is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide information by which you can be identified, it will be used in accordance with this Privacy Policy.



GRASPIE may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. We will notify you when updates are made. You can also visit our Privacy Policy page at any time at



1. What personal information we collect:

The following types of personal information (“Personal Information”) may be collected by GRASPIE automatically, inputted by you or collected by your GRASPIE Subscriber in the course of your interactions with the Software. The GRASPIE Subscriber is the organization which has arranged your GRASPIE User Account, for example it may be your employer, channel partner or learning provider (GRASPIE Subscriber”). 



Account Profile Information:


We collect the following information to allow us to create your user account to give you access to the Software:

  • Name

  • Job title

  • Contact information including email address & address

  • Other information relevant to customer surveys and/or offers


Information you provide through use of the Software:


As a result of your use and interactions with the Software, you may provide Personal Information which we will collect and store. Other users within your GRASPIE Subscriber Account may share Personal Information about you, such as your name or email address. Examples of ways you may interact with Software features (collectively known as “Feature Interactions”) include: 

  • Messages you exchange*

  • Content interactions such as views and comments

  • Event location, registration and attendance details*

  • Posts you make in forums*

  • The information you provide in forms*

  • Answers you give to quiz questions

  • Leaderboard position*

Through your Feature Interactions, please be aware that any Personal Information you share may be seen by other users of the Software and we may not be able to remove this personal information upon request. If we can't remove this Personal Information we will tell you why.


Device information:


GRASPIE will collect information about the device you use to access the Software which may include:

  • IP address

  • device hardware type

  • device operating system

  • device browser type

  • device location


Information you provide via GRASPIE support channels:


From time to time you may provide Personal Information to our support channels for the purpose of requesting our help to resolve an issue. Other users within your GRASPIE Subscriber Account may also provide Personal Information about you for the same purpose. This information may include: 

  • Name

  • Email address

  • Phone number

  • Screen shots

  • Other information necessary to diagnose a problem and provide a resolution



Information you provide through the GRASPIE website:


Through your use of the GRASPIE website we may collect the following types of Personal Information:

  • URL

  • Name

  • Email address

  • Company name

  • Other information provided in the course of providing feedback or completing a survey



Other information we collect: 


Through your use of the Software, we track how you interact with the Software, such as what content you view or what actions you perform. Your GRASPIE Subscriber may collect additional Personal Information about you without the knowledge or authorization of GRASPIE. You should seek advice from your GRASPIE Subscriber regarding their privacy and security policies.



Use of cookies:


A cookie is a small file that asks permission to be placed on your computer's hard drive. Once you agree, the file is added and the cookie helps analyze web traffic or lets you know when you visit a particular site. Cookies allow web applications to respond to you as an individual. The web application can tailor its operations to your needs, likes and dislikes by gathering and remembering information about your preferences.


We use traffic log cookies to identify which pages are being used. This helps us analyze data about web page traffic and improve our website in order to tailor it to customer needs. We only use this information for statistical analysis purposes and then the data is removed from the system.


Overall, cookies help us provide you with a better website, by enabling us to monitor which pages you find useful and which you do not. A cookie in no way gives us access to your computer or any information about you, other than the data you choose to share with us.


You can choose to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. This may prevent you from taking full advantage of the website.



2. Why do we collect your personal information?

In general:


We use the Personal Information we collect for a variety of purposes including:

  • To provide you with a better and more personalized GRASPIE experience

  • To provide account analytics information for your GRASPIE Subscriber

  • To improve our products and services.

  • To periodically send informational or promotional emails about new products, special offers, educational blogs or other information we think you may find interesting using the email address that you have provided. 

  • From time to time, we may also use your Personal Information to contact you for market research purposes. We may contact you by email, phone, fax, mail or within the GRASPIE app. We may use the Personal Information to customize our website and platform according to your interests.

  • Your Personal Information is ONLY used for GRASPIE marketing purposes and will not be shared with third parties other than your GRASPIE Subscriber.



Legal Basis for Processing (EEA Users):


If you are an individual in the European Economic Area (EEA) the grounds for collecting and processing your Personal Information depends on the context in which you are providing the information but in general we collect your Personal Information:

  • To provide the service we have been contracted to provide

  • To allow us to properly and appropriately administer the Software and to protect the safety and security of the Services

  • To provide you with customer support and a personalized experience

  • To detect, prevent or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues

  • To protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of GRASPIE, our users or the public as required or permitted by law

  • Where the processing of the information is in our or a third party’s legitimate interest (which is not overridden by your data protection interests)

  • In certain circumstances where we have a legal obligation to collect the information

  • You have given us consent to do so, you may withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us at



3. Sharing with Third Parties



GRASPIE utilizes the services of several third-party service providers (“Partner Providers”) to deliver and support the Software. Examples of how these third-party applications are used are: 

  • The hosting of and storage of data

  • The provision of support services including support ticket management

  • The processing of email messages from the Software

  • The provision of content creation and collation functions


GRASPIE promises to ensure that all Partner Providers we engage with have privacy and security procedures and policies of at least the same standards promised in this Privacy Policy. 


You or your GRASPIE Subscriber may also choose to connect with third-party apps, widgets or social media providers via API’s to add new functionality to the Software. This may give the third-party apps access to your Personal Information. GRASPIE has no control over or visibility of the privacy and security policies and procedures of these third-party apps, therefore this Privacy Policy does not cover how they use your Personal Information. Please refer to these third-party apps to learn about their privacy and security policies.



4. How long do we keep personal information?



GRASPIE will endeavour to only keep your personal information for as long as is necessary to provide the Software and Services to you and your GRASPIE Subscriber. When your Account Profile is deactivated we will delete any information that is not essential to maintaining the integrity of the Services for the GRASPIE Subscriber. Where information cannot be deleted we will anonymize the information where possible. 


Circumstances where we may need to retain information include where we need to retain information to:

  • meet or enforce our contractual obligations

  • comply with our legal obligations

  • to resolve disputes

  • to support our business operations.

    • For example where you have sent messages to team members and these need to be retained for the benefit of remaining members.

  • to develop and improve our services


In any of these circumstances we will anonymize information and isolate it from further use wherever possible until it may be possible to delete it.



5. Security



We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect.


We restrict access to personal information to GRASPIE employees, contractors, and agents who need that information in order to process it. Anyone with this access is subject to strict contractual confidentiality obligations and may be disciplined or terminated if they fail to meet these obligations



6. Links to other websites



Our Software and the content provided within it may contain links to other websites of interest. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note that we do not have any control over that other website. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information that you provide whilst visiting such sites and such sites are not governed by this privacy statement. You should exercise caution and look at the privacy statement applicable to the website in question.



7. Controlling your personal information



You have the right to access your personal information and control it in the following ways:

  • You may request details of personal information that we hold about you.

  • You may request that certain personal information be updated or amended. For example any details in your Account Profile that are incorrect, such as name or email address

  • You may request to have your user account deactivated

  • You may request that certain information be deleted

  • You may request that we stop sending you marketing or other communications


If you request your personal information to be deleted we will endeavour to do so wherever possible. There are circumstances where deletion of your information is not possible as it will effect our ability to maintain the integrity of the Services for the GRASPIE Subscriber.


We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so.


We may use your personal information to send you promotional information about third parties that we think you may find interesting if you tell us that you wish this to happen.


If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please contact your GRASPIE Subscriber administrator or GRASPIE directly at . We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.




8. Transferring of your information internationally



GRASPIE provides it's Software and Services to many countries throughout the world. The data and Personal Information we collect is securely stored mostly in a United States location with a Partner Provider. This means if you reside outside the United States, your Personal Information is transferred internationally. You can be assured the security and integrity of your Personal Information is of paramount importance and the security of privacy procedures of our Partner Provider are of the highest standard and comply with the regulations of the European Union.
